Job Description

The Registered Manager is accountable for the day-to-day running of the care service, ensuring that high standards of care and support are maintained for all service users. You will lead, develop, and motivate the care team to deliver person-centred outcomes while maintaining full regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations, staffing, and service delivery.
  • Lead recruitment, supervision, and development of care staff.
  • Maintain robust care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Ensure CQC Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs) standards are consistently met.
  • Monitor performance and quality assurance through audits and reports.
  • Build positive relationships with families, commissioners, and health professionals.
  • Represent the service at inspections, reviews, and external meetings.

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Adults).
  • At least 2 years of management experience within a regulated care setting.
  • Strong understanding of CQC frameworks and local authority processes.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to promoting dignity, inclusion, and empowerment.
